WATER AND ENVIRONMENT PROJECTS:

Kalpasar Project aims for creation of fresh water coastal reservoir in the Gulf of Khambhat by construction of about 30 kms dyke connecting east and west banks of the gulf to create huge fresh water of about 10,000 Million cubic meters for irrigation, drinking and industrial purposes. It will be the world’s largest freshwater lake in the marine environment.

The key scope of work includes the following:

  • The key task is to provide technical assistance to support National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Govt. of India
  • Providing technical assistance to NCCR in review and finalization of DPRs by providing domain experts’ technical input primarily including Dyke Design, Dyke Safety and Operations, Dyke Construction, Geophysical Survey and Analysis, Flood Regulator, Hydrologist, Analysis and Design of Coastal/Ocean Structures, Marine Ecology, Fisheries and Contract & tendering.
  • Compile the reports of the completed studies
  • Assist NCCR in carrying out additional studies by engaging various organizations.
  • Finalization of Detailed Project Report (DPR) as per CWC and MoEF&CC guidelines for obtaining the necessary clearances and statutory approvals for the construction of the Dam.

G-Tech Infra in association with Grant Thornton is providing financial consulting services to Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Govt. of India.

The key scope includes the following:

a. Tier 1: Financial Analysis

  • Phasing of costs as per the Detailed Project Report
  • Phasing of operational expenses as per the implementation schedule proposed in the DPR
  • Identify the various sources of revenue accruing to the project
  • Quantification of the revenue as per Industry standards
  • Prepare a Cash Inflow – Outflow statement based on accounting principles
  • Prepare a functional Financial Model for necessary Financial Analysis to arrive at the Project NPV, Project IRR under different scenarios
  • Identify the critical parameters affecting the financial returns from the project and conduct a Sensitivity Analysis

b. Tier 2: Economic Analysis

  • Conversion of Financial Project Cost Estimates into economic costs
  • Conversion of OPEX estimates into economic costs
  • Identification of tangible economic benefits accruing due to the project (Economic benefits as already identified in the DPR shall be considered as the base; however, in case any other benefits have not been identified, the Consultant shall propose the same, subject to final acceptance of the Authorities)
  • Population projection as per accepted standards and identification of beneficiary population out of the same
  • Sensitivity Analysis

c. Tier 2: Economic Analysis

  • Identification of non quantifiable economic benefits accruing to the project area and surrounding population, ecology, biodiversity etc
  • Highlight trade-offs, if any

The total project cost is approx. Rs._1518 cr.

G-Tech Infra has provided Consultancy Services for feasibility study of Client’s Detailed Project Report (DPR), Basic Design, Technical Specifications including techno-commercial and Financial parameters, checking of basic engineering provided by client with respect to 30 years projected population of Adityapur town, O&M strategy plan finalization.

G-Tech Infra key roles included ground truthing, review of technical tender documents, overall bid management to ensure all bidding terms and conditions are fulfilled as per tender requirements

The key tasks included preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA-EMP & SIA) Reports along with Obtaining Mandatory Statutory Clearances (CRZ/CTE/FC/WLS/Wetland Clearances) for National Waterway (NW-95) located in the state of Assam. Also conducted Reconnaissance survey along with collection of primary (one season baseline environmental data shall be generated for ambient air, water quality, noise levels, soils and aquatic biota) and secondary data, risk and disaster management, CRZ mapping and HTL/LTL demarcation through MoEF&CC approved agencies etc.

This project was commissioned by PWC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers India Pvt. Ltd.) in February 2018, for Bangalore location. The project aimed at devising go-to-market strategy in Government space which is include detailed study for preparation of business plan/potential of water market in India.

Following is the scope of work of the project:

  • Assessment on technology and product requirement for various projects to be initiated in the waterways in India
  • Basic Design Engineering for quantity and size estimation of products required for projects
    • Water and Waste water projects
    • Sewage treatment plants, Hydraulic and Hydraulic Design
    • Waste Water collection, etc
  • Market rate assessments by collecting quotations

There were multiple water supply experts recruited for completing the services process along with industry advisors.

  1. Project Management and Advisory for Big Statue in Mumbai:

Includes Fabrication, Supply and Installation of 76.69-meter-highbronze statue of Bharatratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at United India, Mill No. 06, Mumbai, Maharashtra,India. Our client for the project is Luoyang Copper Group Metallographic Artifacts Co, Ltd., China and this project is commissioned by Mumbai Metropolitan region Development Authority,Govt. of Maharashtra

  1. Project Management Consultancy for Integrated Check-Post:

Construction of Integrated Check Post at Rupaidiha (U.P.), Indo-Nepal Border. This project is commissioned by the client Land Port Authority of India and is due for initiation in this year.

The objective of this assignment is to conduct relevant environmental studies, preparation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for pre-construction, construction and operation phases, obtain Consent to Establish (CTE) from State Pollution Control Boards (SPCB), preparation of documents for Wildlife Clearance and obtain Wildlife Clearance from State Board of Wildlife (SBWL), National Board of Wildlife (NBWL) and Honorable Supreme Court.

The key tasks included:

  • Preparation of Environment Management Plan (EMP);
  • Wildlife Clearance including Submission of Work Plan and Inspection Report, Preparation of Application, Clearance from SBWL, Clearance from NBWL, Clearance from Supreme Court; and
  • Consent to Establish from SPCB which include Filling up of application for “Consent to Establish” for submission to State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) and Consultant shall coordinate with State Pollution Control Board for obtaining the NOC

Environment Impact Assessment and Plan for obtaining multiple clearances for developing Inland Waterway stretch between Pedaganjam And Ennore of North Buckingham Canal in National Waterway-4

Commenced in July, 2016, the main objective of the project was to conduct Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environment Management Plan (EMP) Studies and Obtaining Environment, CRZ, Wild Life and forest clearances to undertake the pre, during and post phase operational activities for the development of the operational waterways. The project got concluded in March 2018.

TRANSPORT (BRIDGES/SPECIAL STRUCTURES) PROJECTS:

A World Bank funded project which primarily aims to reduce the logistics costs and promote trade in the region by development of an enhanced demand for low draft – high carrying capacity vessels.

This project was scheduled for U.P., Bihar and West Bengal states and was undertaken for Inland Waterways Authority of India in June 2015 and delivered in January 2017. With a principal objective of detailed techno-economic feasibility study that sets out options to improve the short, to long term capacity of NW-1 to deliver increased freight movement at lower transport cost, G-Tech Infrastructure delivered the following services to the client:

  • Techno-Economic Feasibility study for improving the navigability for larger deeper draft vessels for the entire stretch of NA-1
  • Detailed Engineering for providing and/or improving facilities for common user terminals and other navigational aids in the Haldia to Varanasi stretch

G-Tech Infra alongwith its specialist international Bridge Design partner, M/s Studio De Miranda Associati is entrusted to prepare feasibility report and EPC tender documents for proposed 4 lane iconic Cable Stayed Bridge on Damanganga River at Daman. The major scope of work includes preparation of conceptual designs options with block cost, finalized concept with GAD, Feasibility Report, preparation of Tender documents and selection of Contractor thereof.

This project was commissioned by the client Transstroy (India) Ltd., Hyderabad in July 2017. Polavaram Project, is an under construction multi-purpose National project on the Godavari River and has been accorded national project status by the Union Government of India. The details of the project included construction of the following:

  • Proposed Spill channel bridge construction in 12 months (1040 m length)
  • 6 spans of 150 m, 4 lane bridge of 3.75 m each, foot path at each side of 2 m wide
  • A central pylon with a transparent roof at about 70 m ground level (20 m above dam level). Also, a panoramic lift is proposed to reach roof top and a stair case is provided as emergency exit
  • Top of the gallery is about 300 Sq. m in area that can accommodate 300 people

G-Tech Infra alongwith its specialist international Bridge Design partner, M/s Studio De Miranda Associati has provided design engineering support to the client for the construction of the cable stay bridge across Spill Channel At Ch.620.000M at Polavaram Irrigation Project, Andhra Pradesh with expert personnel like Bridge Engineer, Cable Stay Bridge Engineer, Sr. Quality cum Material Engineers.

To alleviate traffic congestion and to shorten travel time between north and north east Delhi, Delhi Govt. has proposed the construction of this bridge which was inaugurated in 2018 and open to traffic. The total length of the bridge is 575 meters –main span in 251m, viaduct spans are 36 m and deck is 36.20m wide. G-Tech Infra alongwith its specialist international Bridge Design partner, M/s Studio De Miranda Associati has successfully carried out Construction Design and Engineering and Construction supervision works for iconic of Cable Stayed Bridge across Yamuna River in Wazirabad, Delhi, India.

Project Cost: INR 2099 cr.

Key scope included the following-

  • Providing technical assistance
  • Provide pre-bid engineering services incl. Preparation of Concept Plan, Preparation of Preliminary Designs and costing
  • Assistance in Preparation of tender, tender drawings, detailed estimates. Technical specifications etc.

Project Cost: INR 972 cr.

Detailed scope includes the following:

  • Detailed Design
  • Supply, installation & testing, commissioning, maintenance and handover of the entire system.
  • Site training of designated personnel, supply of O&M manual, guarantee period of 05 ( Five ) years from date of final commissioning and maintaining of web interface for monitoring of the data
  • Analysis of sensor and equipment outputs, generating periodic reports with graphical data as per client requirements
STATUES PROJECT:

G-Tech in association with Aerosun Corporation (one of the oldest and largest statue making company) will be providing -

  • a. Overall Project Management Support, and
  • b. Supply of skilled manpower for installation of statue including erection, management of scaffolding and related works
SMART SOLUTIONS:

G-Tech Infra is also engaged as Project Management Consultant by M/s TPS Infrastructure Limited for setting up of Smart Garbage Decomposition System at newly constructed PTB Complex, Kartarpur Corridor, Dera Baba Nanak, Punjabwhich is self powered, requires no fuel and no processing and storage is required.
